Christian Druck works for the appointee of the Bavarian Government for immigration, asylum, and integration matters. He has held this position since 2010. As part of his
responsibilities, he heads the executive board of the Bavarian Integration Council.
Mr. Druck studied Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and at Damascus University. Following his studies, he worked as a journalist.
In his present work, Mr. Druck focuses on immigration and asylum law as well as on labor market and education issues. His expertise covers predominantly migration issues concerning Germany and
other European member states. In his research, Mr. Druck focuses on political and societal developments in the MENA region.
