The Middle East is one of the most exciting as well as most critical world regions in terms of global politics, world economics and social and cultural affairs. In this respect, the 2019 Munich-Berlin Middle East Summer School aims at providing students with a broad understanding of the key political, economic, and societal developments in the contemporary Middle East and of the region’s inter-dependencies and interactions with major countries and regions around the globe. In the seminars, students will be taught by academics and practitioners with long-standing experience in the Middle East in an interactive way. The program also aims at engaging them in a dialogue with students from the region in focus.

The application and the program will be given in English.
