Women's and Minority Rights in Post-Mubarak Egypt

MEIA Research organized in co-operation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) and the Austrian Society for Policy Analysis (OGP) a panel discussion on women's and minority rights Egypt in the post-Mubarak era. The event took place at the HSS headquarters in Munich.

 

Panel guests were award winning Egyptian women's and human rights activist Dalia Ziada, Nele Schütze (OGP), and member of German parliament Alexander Radwan (CSU). HSS chairwoman Prof. Dr. Ursula Männle gave a welcome address. Dr. René Rieger moderated the event.

Iranian Nuclear Talks

Dr. Anja Opitz moderated a panel discussion on chances and obstacles regarding a final agreement between Iran and the P5+1 in the longstanding dispute on Iran's nuclear program. The event, organized by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, took place only days before the 30 June 2015 deadline set by the conflict parties to reach a final deal.

The panelists were Prof. Dr. Andreas Bock (Akkon College for Human Sciences), Prof. Dr. Reinhard Meier-Walser (director/Academy for Politics and Current Affairs of Hanns Seidel Foundation), and Dr. Walter Posch (Austrian Defense Academy).
